Education

As part of the Digital Mobile Classroom (DigiMoK) project to promote education around artificial intelligence, coding, and robotics, expert interviews have been conducted with our researchers in collaboration with Helliwood media & education. In the coming weeks, we would like to present you with an expert video every week. As the videos are in German, we will use the blog post to contextualize them and describe the research of each expert. Our series starts with Marie-Sophie von Braun on her research area of personalized medicine for stroke patients. Artificial intelligence (AI) is revolutionizing the treatment of strokes by giving doctors a more precise insight into the brain.

Video of the expert interview with Marie-Sophie von Braun.

In this video, Marie-Sophie von Braun presents her research project on the use of AI in medicine. She is working at ScADS.AI Dresden/Leipzig in cooperation with the Department of Neurology at Leipzig University Hospital to improve therapy decisions in the treatment of strokes through the use of AI. It helps to localize and best treat blockages in the blood vessels that impede the flow of oxygen during a stroke. This innovative combination of technology and medicine demonstrates the potential of AI to advance medical research and optimize patient care.
