On 09.12.2024, over 150 people gathered for our ScaDS.AI Dresden/Leipzig General Assembly in Leipzig. The day was filled with insightful presentations, engaging discussions and various opportunities for networking between the locations.

Program of the 4th General Assembly Meeting in 2024

In the morning, the directors and administration directors gave an overview on administrative topics and project news from both locations. This was followed by a highlight talk by Prof. Grégoire Montavon from BIFOLD – Berlin Institute for the Foundations of Learning and Data, who gave a presentation on Explainable AI: From Insights to Actionability.

A series of interesting presentations followed, highlighting some of the Centre’s research topics. After lunch, team members had the opportunity to take part at a poster session and participate at breakout sessions to discuss selected topics in more depth in smaller groups. At the end of the day, researchers were able to discuss their datasets and plan new collaborations in short dataset talks.
