On June 6th 2022, representatives of the KI-Hub Sachsen/Thüringen locations in Illmenau and Chemnitz visited the ScaDS.AI Dresden/Leipzig Living Lab in Leipzig. The present researchers and representatives discussed the role of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning as key technologies in digitization.

Cooperation

Together, we aim to actively contribute to an increasing value creation in Saxony and Thuringia. To achieve this, our center for Data Science, Artificial Intelligence and Big Data, ScaDS.AI Dresden/Leipzig, plans to offer joint trainings, form expert teams and exchange demonstrators in cooperation with KI-Hub Sachsen/Thüringen.

KI-Hub Sachsen/Thüringen

The AI Hub combines the AI-expertise of Mittelstand-Digital Zentrum Illmenau and Mittelstand-Digital Zentrum Chemnitz. Together, the centers share their knowledge by offering trainings as well as a wide range of products and services to the public. Especially medium-sized companies can benefit from their expertise regarding data-supported work and production processes. For example, the AI Hub supports companies by:

• teaching them how Artificial Intelligence works
• helping to explore potentials
• supporting the development of initial projects of the companies
• bringing Artificial Intelligence into application
