Maker Days for Kids

ScaDS.AI Dresden/Leipzig will be taking part in this year’s Maker Days for Kids in Leipzig from October 15-18, 2024 with various AI stations.

In addition to the ScaDS.AI workshop, the program includes:

• a textile workshop
• a woodworking workshop
• a film workshop
• a 3D printing workshop
• an upcycling workshop
• an animation workshop
• an urban planning workshop
• a diy robot workshop
• a bookbinding workshop and
• a game design workshop.

It’s all about DIY! Anyone can take part, no previous experience necessary.

At the Maker Days for Kids, children between the ages of 10 and 14 can tinker, build, learn about and try out different tools, media, technologies, and materials in the temporary workshop free of charge.

Registration is already closed, but if you still want to attend, you can write an e-mail to leipzig@makerdaysforkids.eu and ask to be put on the waiting list.
The venue is the Völkerfreundschaft in Grünau (Stuttgarter Allee 9).

Closing Event

There will also be a closing event on Friday 18 October 2024 from 14:00 to 16:00, to which we would like to invite all interested parties. On this day, the workshop will be open to adults and guests – parents, siblings, relatives, and anyone else who is interested – to come and see what has been created. And even more: The children will be responsible for the activities and will show the adults how it’s done!
