Abstract

Digital evidence is a growing concern to law enforcement since it behaves slightly different to classical physical evidence and appears on almost every crime scene today. We present a couple of case studies that show the emergence, importance and interpretation of digital evidence. We also reflect on the role that computing science plays in this context.
