From June 23-27, 2025, ScaDS.AI Dresden/Leipzig invites you to the 11th International Summer School on AI and Big Data in Dresden. Our annual summer school brings together graduate students, Ph.D. students, researchers as well as practitioners in the areas of Artificial Intelligence, Big Data, and Machine Learning to discuss cutting-edge topics in Artificial Intelligence research. This year, we will focus on language models and their application areas. Internationally recognized speakers will offer inspiring insights into their work at our Summer School 2025, while participants will get hands-on during a 2-day hackathon. We are excited to welcome both experienced professionals and interested beginners.

The 11th International Summer School on AI and Big Data centers around one major topic, the generation and use of Language Models and their application areas, with a particular focus on education and ethics. An individual, free cancellation of an already booked room is possible up to 7 days before arrival with reference to the General Terms and Conditions (http://penckhoteldresden.de/agb/). The hotel will charge 90% of the room rate for the first night in the event of later cancelations, no-shows and early departures.

Cancellation

1. free cancellation: A free cancellation of the booking is possible up to 6 weeks before the planned start of the event at the latest.
2. cancellation fee of 10%: For cancellations made less than 6 weeks but at least 2 weeks before the start of the event, a cancellation fee of 10% of the booking price will be charged.
3. cancellation fee of 50%: For cancellations made less than 2 weeks but at least 5 days before the start of the event, a cancellation fee of 50% of the booking price will be charged.
4. cancellation after 5 days before the start of the event: Cancellation is no longer possible from the 5th day before the start of the event. This also applies in the event of a no-show at the event. The conference fee must be paid in full.

Important note: All cancellations must be made in writing by e-mail to publicrelations.scads.ai@tu-dresden.de. The date of cancellation depends on the date of receipt of the written notification. Please note that even in the event of late cancellation or no-show, no refund is possible.
