ScaDS.AI Dresden/Leipzig

We are excited to announce that ScaDS.AI Dresden/Leipzig has 34 open positions as Research Associate / PhD Student (m/f/x). We are offering a broad spectrum of topics, which are currently available within our Graduate School, together with mentors and host institutions.

Topics

All available topics belong to one of the following six overarching research areas:

  • Knowledge representation and inference
  • Mathematical foundations of AI and representation learning
  • Scalable Machine Learning and Large Language Model inference
  • Time series analysis and reinforcement learning
  • Visualization and causal inference
  • Machine Learning and ethics for protein design and chemical reactions

Depending on the topic, you will either work at TUD Dresden University of Technology, Leipzig University, or even will be free to choose your prefered location.

If you have a research interest in any of the mentioned areas, we advise you to browse our list of open topics. There, you will find a description for each topic, project information, the supervisors, location and more details on the position of your choice. We are looking forward to your detailed application, including:

  • master certificate and transcript of records (if not in German or English: original and official translation)
  • curriculum vitae (as a PDF document)
  • research statement (motivation to pursue PhD and the specific research topic you are interested in (maximum 3 positions))
  • contact information of two references
  • for non-native speakers: proof of English language test not older than 12 months (e.g. TOEFL, IELTS, CAE)
  • proven language skills can be: completed degree program, school-graduation in Germany, TOEFL)
