Games, Gamers & Mathematics

ScaDS.AI Dresden/Leipzig and the Leipzig Max Planck Institute for Mathematics in the Sciences invite you to a science show on the topic of gaming and mathematics on 02.03.2024 at 7:00 p.m. at Zeitgeschichtliches Forum Leipzig. Admission is free of charge.

Do you want to play games, discover mathematical cheat codes and master them? Playing video and computer games you can solve mathematical problems and puzzles. With the help of new mathematical strategies you can form the best cheat codes and significantly increase your chances of winning.

Even if you have always given numbers and boring arithmetic at school a wide berth in your younger years, this event is just right for you, because it is never too late to enjoy mathematics. The event appeals to gamers, but also to puzzle lovers and the general public, to take them into the fabulous world of mathematics in an entertaining show.
