Hackathon on Alien, AI and HPC: Create your own UFO Identifier
In this hackathon, the participants got in touch with the HPC machine taurus and learned how to work with it. For that, they developed their own AI pipeline for UFO identification based on an image dataset and optimized an exisiting pipeline with the HPC tool OmniOpt. Some of the participants also tackled both of those tasks while having fun at our Living Lab in Dresden.
Rules
The participants have been working in teams. This hackathon was not only about competition, but also about cooperation. Everyone was welcome at the hackathon. No pre-knowledge was required.
Review
Our team members Elias Werner and Norman Koch were joined by interested participants at the Living Lab. With christmas cookies, tea and coffee the participants solved all tasks very well.
