From January 20–27, 2026, ScaDS.AI Dresden/Leipzig joined the AAAI-26 Conference on Artificial Intelligence in Singapore. The Chair for Knowledge-aware AI (KAAI) presented results from their project GPTKB. It aims to demonstrate that large language models can serve as viable sources for large-scale knowledge base construction.
Yujia Hu (KAAI group) presented “GPTKB v1.5: A Massive Knowledge Base for Exploring Factual LLM Knowledge” in the Demonstrations Program of AAAI-26. Together with Tuan-Phong Nguyen, she showcased how GPTKB was constructed. They also demonstrated the diverse functionalities of the web interface.

The Demonstrations Program of AAAI-26 fostered exchange among researchers and practitioners from academia and industry, presenting software and hardware systems and research prototypes for such systems.
The AAAI conference series promotes AI research and provides a platform for scientific exchange between researchers, practitioners, scientists, students, and engineers working in the field of AI and affiliated disciplines. The technical program features substantial, original research and practices. The program also usually includes panel discussions and invited presentations that give an in-depth insight into significant social, philosophical, and economic issues influencing AI around the world.
