On 10.06.2024, ScaDS.AI Dresden/Leipzig participated in forum sachsen digital 2024, organized by the Saxon State Ministry for Economic Affairs, Labor and Transport (SMWA). The conference and networking event focused on the digitalization in Saxony and was held in Löbau, Germany.

Prof. Dr. Wolfgang E. Nagel, director of ScaDS.AI Dresden/Leipzig, participated in a panel discussion on the development of education, science and research in the areas of school education, vocational training, higher education, and lifelong learning. The other two participants in the panel were:

The program of forum sachsen digital 2024 also featured an extensive exhibition with more than 50 exhibitors. At the event, attendees had the opportunity to learn more about the latest digital solutions and innovations from various sectors; showcasing the “Digital Family” and various exhibits. ScaDS.AI Dresden/Leipzig, as one of the six federally funded AI competence centers in Germany, contributed by hosting a booth at the exhibition. The booth team consisted of the heads of our Living Lab in Dresden and Leipzig:

Furthermore, Martin Dulig, Digital Minister, awarded the winners of the 2nd Saxon Digital Prize at the event. This year, the focus was on digital solutions in the raw materials and energy sector. We congratulate all the winners! Learn more about the award here.
