ISC High Performance 2026: Connecting the Dots
Research

From June 22-26, 2026, ISC High Performance 2026 took place in Hamburg, Germany. ScaDS.AI Dresden/Leipzig presented its work at booth G12, featuring guest contributions from the Center for Information Services and High Performance Computing (ZIH). Furthermore, our center contributed to the scientific conference program.

Exhibition

ScaDS.AI Dresden/Leipzig showcased a variety of Living Lab demonstrators at the exhibition. This provided a deeper look into a selection of current research directions of our center to the visitors:

The team of ScaDS.AI Dresden/Leipzig consisted of Prof. Wolfgang E. Nagel, Dr. René Jäkel, Dr. Siavash Ghiasvand, Dr. Taras Lazariv, Lena Jurkschat, and Elias Werner. Bert Wesarg joined the booth with a guest contribution from ZIH, showcasing Vampir – a framework for performance analysis. Furthermore, Elias Werner held the sofa talk “Interactive HPC: Chatbots and AI” as a guest contribution at the booth of Verein für Nationales Hochleistungsrechnen (NHR).

Workshops

Our center also contributed to three scientific workshops at ISC High Performance 2026:

  • AI on HPC Workshop 2026: Performance Engineering, Challenges and Opportunities
  • 2nd International Workshop on Energy Efficiency with Sustainable Performance: Techniques, Tools, and Best Practices (EESP 2026)
  • 2nd International Workshop on Foundational Large Language Models Advances for HPC (LLM4HPC 2026)

Our team members functioned as workshop chairs, members of the programme committees, or gave talks.
