Full-Body Avatar Control Using Monocular Camera Input and Machine Learning

The goal of this work is to investigate the practical possibilities and challenges of using monocular cameras to gain complex movement data, and to design and implement a prototypical system that can capture movement data in real-time and transfer it to a virtual skeleton in 3D space, ultimately allowing for the control of virtual avatars.
