The Alexander von Humboldt Professorship is Germany’s most highly endowed research award. It is funded by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) and awarded by the Alexander von Humboldt-Stiftung. The professorship brings top international researchers from abroad to german universities and offers them long-term prospects here.
