From May 5 to 9 AI Spielplatz takes place at ScaDS.AI Dresden/Leipzig. This workshop is designed for students who are interested in AI but don’t know where to start. Who have an idea for a project but still need a bit of support in implementing it. AI Spielplatz offers the opportunity to familiarize yourself with the topic with the help of your (own) project – under professional guidance. Explore how AI can empower your field of study – and meet a community of curious minds doing the same.

Target audience

The workshop is targeted at students that may have restricted access to AI&ML related courses due to their degree.

Requirements

Attendees must be a student at Universität Leipzig.

Registration

Registration is free of charge but limited to 20 places.

Program

Learn everything you need to get started with your project:

• AI Models – Learn how to generate text and call functions.
• Best Practices – Learn best practices for building e.g. with GPT models.
• APIs – Learn how to search, classify, and compare text.
• Audio to Text – Learn how to turn audio into text.
• Visual Computing – Learn how to detect objects.
• Model Training – Learn how to train a model for your use case.
