Talk: AI in Drug Discovery – What can be done that could not be done before

AI is expected to have a major impact on drug discovery. However, there is still debate as to which developments will truly revolutionise the drug discovery process, as computational methods and standard machine learning approaches have been transforming this process since the last century. In this talk, I will discuss its use in this area also in terms of underlying data availability and in the context of what can be done that couldn’t be done before.
