International Workshop on
AI and Innovative Pedagogies
with Educational Technology

Join the workshop on AI and Innovative Pedagogies with Educational Technology (AI InnoPed) from November 12–15, 2025 and learn how to support the teaching and learning processes. The purpose of this workshop is to bring together the academic, industry, and community stakeholders working on pushing the boundaries of the current educational technology (EdTech) landscape. These boundaries include ethical nuances and challenges for:

  • meaningfully harnessing AI technology to support the teaching and learning processes,
  • rethinking teaching and learning paradigms to achieve teachers’ and students’ innovative mindset shifts with the purposeful use of technology, and
  • reassessing the role of technology in education for supporting the demands of a more sustainable and functional society.

In this first edition of AI InnoPed, the focus will be on pedagogical conversational agents and interdisciplinary pedagogical and technological approaches. At ScaDS.AI Dresden/Leipzig, we are developing two EdTech projects (PCA and PMM) that are an example of such technologies. Finally, through this workshop, we want to provide the space for creating and pursuing synergies leading to the procurement of grants or industry project collaborations featuring the ScaDS.AI Dresden/Leipzig.
