This workshop introduces you to the fascinating world of hyperspectral imaging (HSI). HSI enables the capture of light in hundreds of different wavelengths, allowing detailed analysis of material properties that are invisible to the naked eye. Participants will take hyperspectral images of various objects and explore the fundamentals of spectral data. They will learn what a spectrum is, how it can be used to reveal hidden properties of materials and how to compare spectra of different materials to decipher their unique signatures.
