Speaker

Prof. Daniel Buschek

At the 10th International Summer School on AI and Big Data, Prof. Daniel Buschek will give a presentation in the field of Human Computer Interaction and AI.

Talk: Human-AI Interaction in Writing Tools

In this talk, we explore how generative AI might reshape various kinds of writing activities, such as emails, scientific papers, and creative writing. With examples of interactive prototypes from our group, and related user studies, we investigate the impact of AI on both text and writers themselves. We critically discuss emerging tradeoffs and constructively envision user interfaces that go beyond current systems like ChatGPT.
