During the workshop, all partners presented their current progress and outlined their future steps. The collaboration between the institutions is set to intensify, with researchers from University of Patras planning to continue their visit in Dresden for an additional two weeks. Furthermore, in August, partners from TUD Dresden University of Technology will undertake a scientific stay at University of Patras to further accelerate and expand the joint efforts.

This collaborative effort exemplifies the mission of the Living Lab. It aims to create a space for experimentation, evolution, exploration, and evaluation in the field of AI and data science. The workshop’s focus on impact localization and force measurement aligns with the commitment of ScaDS.AI Dresden/Leipzig to advancing research and development in specialized fields, potentially leading to innovative approaches for:

  • understanding phenomena,
  • recognizing patterns,
  • evaluating decisions, and
  • detecting errors.

The ongoing collaboration between the University of Patras and TUD Dresden University of Technology, facilitated by the Living Lab, demonstrates the center’s role in fostering international partnerships and knowledge exchange in AI and data science research.
