SaxFDM Open Data Award

With the SaxFDM Open Data Award, the proper handling of research data is promoted. In 2025, the state initiative presented awards for exemplary approaches in the field of open research data for the third time. Submissions were accepted from research or cultural institutions in Saxony. All submissions had to be freely accessible at the time of participation and no more than five years old. A jury formed by SaxFDM evaluated the submitted data sets, taking into account the FAIR principles and the relevant criteria for open data. Learn more about the award here.
