NLP: Natural Language Processing

On 11.11.2021 at 11:00 a.m., the fifth lecture of the Living Lab lecture series took place. ScaDS.AI Dresden/Leipzig scientific researchers Dr. Sunna Torge, Lena Jurkschat and Lalith Manjunath talked about Natural Language Processing (NLP) with a focus on domain-specific text analysis.

After an introduction to language modelling and text analysis using machine learning (ML) methods, the analysis of two different text data sets was explained. In the lecture, Dr. Sunna Torge, Lena Jurkschat and Lalith Manjunath show how clustering and domain specific entity recognition works.
