SECAI Promotes Young Talents in AI

26.01.2023 // SCADS

On January 26th 2023, the School of Embedded Composite Artificial Intelligence (SECAI) held its first graduate school meeting. The academix fellows and scholarship holders from SECAI welcomed the 13 new PhD students and clinical scientists. In the coming years, they will conduct research on Artificial Intelligence (AI) in computer science, electrical engineering and medicine as well as develop new approaches.

As a network partner and with the participation of numerous ScaDS.AI principal investigators as academic fellows, we are pleased to contribute at SECAI to strengthening education and research in the field of artificial intelligence in Germany. Currently, many PIs of ScaDS.AI Dresden/Leipzig are jointly responsible for the research goals and educational activities of SECAI such as Prof. Dr. Bjoern Andres, Prof. Dr. Martin Bogdan, Prof. Dr. Markus Krötzsch, Prof. Dr. Anne Lauber-Rönsberg, Prof. Dr. Jens Lehmann, Prof. Dr. Carsten Lutz, Prof. Dr. Christian Mayr, Prof. Dr. Jens Meiler, Prof. Dr. Sayan Mukherjee, Prof. Dr. Sabine Müller-Mall, Prof. Dr. Kristin Reiche, Prof. Dr. Sebastian Rudolph, Prof. Dr. Ivo F. Sbalzarini, Prof. Dr. Stephanie Schiedermair, and Prof. Dr. Peter Stadler.

SECAI

The School of Embedded Composite Artificial Intelligence is a joint project of TU Dresden and Leipzig University. It is funded by Bundesministerium für Bildung und Forschung. It promotes AI in research and education, awards scholarships, strengthens teaching, funds researchers and promotes international exchange. We thank SECAI for promoting young talents in the broad field of Artificial Intelligence. Furthermore, we are curious about its upcoming projects.
